Waiting is easier with a number
When you love someone far away, weeks are measured in reunions: the next train, the next flight, the holiday where you're finally together. A countdown gives the wait something concrete to hold. "In 12 days" is easier to carry than "soon".
How it works
You create a moment on the date you'll meet. While it's still ahead, Ensemble shows the days left, marked "days until". On the morning of the day itself, a notification tells you ("It's today"), and the counter then starts counting the days since that date.
The same moment shows in the Home Screen widgets, on the Lock Screen and in StandBy: you see it dozens of times a day without opening the app.
The same number on both sides
With Pro, the counter is shared through iCloud: you both see the same number, even hundreds of miles apart. Just invite your partner from Settings; the invitation goes out through Messages. Each of you keeps your own iPhone and your own iCloud, with no extra account. You each need an iPhone or iPad running iOS 26.
One counter for what lasts, one for what's coming
Many long distance couples keep two numbers: the days spent together since the start, and the days until the next visit. Ensemble's free version keeps your first day and one more moment, which is enough for a countdown. With Pro you can add as many as you like: a visit, a weekend, a trip, the move that ends the distance.

Ensemble Pro: €1.99 a month, €9.99 a year, or €19.99 once, forever. The App Store shows prices in your local currency; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
