A widget that hides nothing
Many love counter widgets are full of ads, or keep the useful ones behind a subscription you only discover afterwards. Ensemble's widget is free, with no ads: the small and medium Home Screen widgets, the Lock Screen widgets and StandBy. Only the large widget is part of Pro, and the app says so plainly.
Home Screen, Lock Screen, StandBy
On the Home Screen, the small widget shows the number and one line ("days together"); the medium one adds your first names; the large one, part of Pro, adds the date. On the Lock Screen you can choose a circle, a rectangle or a line under the clock. In StandBy, when the iPhone charges on its side on the nightstand, the number appears big, readable from across the room.
In every case the number stays the hero: one big number, one line, the date in small type.
Your colours, flat
Eight flat themes, no gradients: Paper and Ink are free; the others (Coral, Sage, Ocean, Plum, Sun, Rose) are part of Pro, like your own photo. The ink is always chosen so the number reads, whatever the background.
How to add it
Home Screen: touch and hold the background, tap +, search for Ensemble, pick a size. Lock Screen: touch and hold, tap Customize, then the widget area. StandBy: put the iPhone on its side while charging and swipe to the widget. If the app is already set up, the widget shows your counter as soon as you add it.
On your partner's phone too
With Pro, the counter is shared through iCloud: your partner has the same widget on their iPhone, with the same number. One purchase covers you both, and there's no account to create.
Free or Pro
Free: the small and medium widgets, the Lock Screen, StandBy and two themes, with no ads. Pro: the large widget, every theme and your own photo, and sharing for two.
Ensemble Pro: €1.99 a month, €9.99 a year, or €19.99 once, forever. The App Store shows prices in your local currency; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
